As simple as this may sound .. the more colour you incorporate in your life – yes talking about mother natures finest creations in produce, but also seeing colour in general for an emotional stand point, the more healing health benefits you will receive
Each naturally pigmented colour of fresh produce represents a different family with ample healing properties for our bodies. I will dive into each of them soon, but for today I’ll highlight RED … tomatoes! Tomatoes contain a photochemical known as lycopene which in turn helps lower our cholesterol and keep our blood from clotting, whilst easing inflammation and protecting us from cardiovascular disease. When you also pair it with avocado, a mono saturated fat .. the absorption of the lycopene is more bioavailable and is boosted by almost 5 times Avocados’s also are loaded with fibre and filter out toxins that are absorbed in the body
